Style Editor Emma

So today Emma pulled an unfinished project out of the fabric pile and tried it on to see if it fits. A little background…I sewed this little number under the supervision of my mom probably around age 17. I got tired of sewing it however and never finished the hem or the spaghetti straps. It was a well executed project – fully lined – just never finished.
***20 years later***
Emma has an idea. Try it on, does it fit? Yes! (How dare she grow up) Now to style it for Mom’s blog. Black Tshirt, black shoes, wide belt, hair up. I said …REALLY?!? wide belt??? I don’t know… Obviously she is right and cute as a button. How DOES she do it? I don’t know.

 

Emma – the contributing Fashion editor

I have this kid see?! She loves style…as do I, but she is better at it. She has the eye. Since I want my blog to eventually dominate the information super highway 😉 I thought it would be wise to have some contributors to this information exchange. Emma has agreed to showcase the odd fashion triumph produced from her already existing humble collection.
Let me walk you through the following picture. Here Miss Hill is styled in a simple jeans/white t-shirt combo dressed up with a generous layering of silver accessories. Her chandalier-rings are clip-on since her ears are not pierced and her collection of silver necklaces are purposely varried in length to add sparkle and drama. Emma’s hair was twisted into a low and loose bun at the back leaving the shorter pieces free to frame her face and highlight her earrings.
